Gregory Gangemi is a senior level Computer Graphics (CG) artist, fine artist, and director. In 2007 he received his MFA in Design and Technology from Parsons School of Design. After graduating, he went to work at The Mill in NYC as a CG Staff Artist. He would go on to work for The Mill in both it's LA and NYC studios, culminating in a 5 year stretch as Lead CG Artist in NYC.

With a career spanning almost 15 years, Gregory has extensive experience in Visual Effects and Computer Graphics. With early experience as a lighter, he is a reliable and broad based generalist, with FX, animation, design and compositing experience. He has extensive experience working on-set as a Supervisor for commercial and episodic VFX, and has been involved in every aspect of the filmmaking process for commercial clients such as Sony, Toyota and Coca-Cola, as well as for television series such as Dickinson (Apple+) and Billions (Showtime). His experience in design-driven Computer Graphics and Animation led to his involvement in award winning projects like the titles for the OFFF By Night Festival in Antwerp, 2016. His directorial work includes a trio of 30 second animations for Greenpeace in 2019, as well as a number of music videos and short films. In addition to working as a commercial and fine artist, Gregory also teaches in the Computer Art department at the School of Visual Arts in New York City.  

Gregory is currently Head of the 3D Department at FuseFX in NYC. He lives in Garrison, NY with his wife, Annette Gallo, and their 10 year old son Rainer.

In addition to his professional work Greg Gangemi has been shown as a contemporary media artist at galleries such as Young Projects in LA and Plexus Projects in Brooklyn, NY. He continues his exploration of experimental visuals and posts his experiments on Instagram.
